Saber Interactive has reassured fans who have been waiting for a remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Yesterday's announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 has some fans worried about Saber Interactive's other games in development, but according to studio executives, there's nothing to worry about.

Creative director Tim Willits decided to boast about the scope of the studio:“Saber Interactive is one of the largest independent developers in the world. We are working on a lot of games in a variety of genres.”.
“Everything we have already talked about is still in development. We'll share information about upcoming games when we have something cool to talk about,” Willits assured fans.
In total, with Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Saber Interactive has as many as eight major projects in development, and the most questionable of them is the remake of the cult role-playing game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
The re-interpretation of the role-playing classic from the BioWare studio was announced back in 2021. Since then, the project has changed developers and has been dubbed by insiders“dead as hell”, but as of last spring it was still in production.
In addition to Space Marine 3 and the KoTOR remake, the studio is making a new Painkiller, shooter Turok: Origins, action
