Which Star Wars movie does Harrison Ford wish he could erase from his memory? Even the creators of the saga hate him

Today it is difficult to imagine a person who has never heard of Han Solo. It was this role that made Harrison Ford a world star, and later Indiana Jones, Rick Deckard from Blade Runner and many other iconic characters were added to it.

But there is work in the actor’s filmography that he would prefer to erase from history forever.

When a journalist once asked Ford what he remembered about filming the Star Wars Holiday Special, the actor answered as succinctly as possible:

“Nothing. This doesn't exist."

This phrase has long become a legend among fans of the franchise.

In a new interview with the Star Wars: Galactic Racer development team, the game's creators said that
Despite the previously stated focus on developing the base game, expansion packs (DLC) for the game are planned for the future.

In an interview with Shacknews Interviews, Lucasfilm Games executive producer Craig Derrick and Fuse Games CEO Matt Webster were interviewed after the press praised their new game. The game seems to be off to a good start based on early positive reviews, and Lucasfilm Games and Fuse Games would like to capitalize on this success. Webster confirmed that there will be a lot more interesting things to come after the launch of Galactic Racer:

“Yes, there will be some more after the launch. What exactly... I will answer on this score: “No comment.”

A new book from Abrams Books offers Star Wars fans a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of one of the franchise's best series, Andor.

In addition to never-before-seen art, the original idea for the show was revealed. Initially, Jared Bush, who was responsible for Disney cartoons (Moana, Zootopia), worked on the project.

The nascent Resistance suffers a crushing defeat after an Imperial spy infiltrated into its ranks helps destroy several rebel bases. Young intelligence officer Cassian Andor is one of the few survivors, but he himself becomes the main suspect - he is falsely accused of being the traitor.

Finding himself an outlaw, Cassian realizes that the only way to clear his name and find the real spy is to infiltrate the Imperial planet, where the key to revealing the identity of the traitor is hidden.

The series was eventually taken over by Tony Gilroy, who worked on Rogue One. The original idea has been reworked.

Kylo Ren's replacement gets a major role in the new Star Wars

Kylo Ren's replacement gets a major role in the new Star Wars

In Star Wars, the character who replaced Kylo Ren in the ranks of the Knights of Ren has returned. But this time in a more significant role.

Many fans of the franchise agree that the sequel trilogy was a bit of a mess, especially when it came to the Knights of Ren. In “The Force Awakens,” they were introduced as a dangerous group of Force-sensitives led by Kylo Ren. Their potential was squandered in The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. Sunrise". However, "Star Wars" develops them in other formats.

Lucasfilm and Marvel Comics recently announced the release of a new canonical comic book series called The Fall of Kylo Ren. The first issue will be released in August, and the second in September. The cover for issue two has already been revealed, featuring Kylo Ren alongside his replacement, Tava Ren.

The image shows Tava Ren standing next to Kylo, apparently in a hangar inside a First Order dreadnought or other aircraft carrier. Both characters are wearing helmets and with activated lightsabers.

This is the first time in Star Wars history that Tava Ren has appeared on the cover of a Kylo Ren comic. Moreover, she has been present in the canon since mid-2025.

“The Mandalorian and Grogu” dropped out of the top 5 at the box office in its third week of release

“The Mandalorian and Grogu” dropped out of the top 5 at the box office in its third week of release

I have a bad feeling. By the end of its third weekend at the US box office, The Mandalorian and Grogu had already dropped to 6th place, once again behind the feature film based on the YouTube sensation: The Amazing Digital Circus.

John Favreau's film showed again a sharp drop in box office receipts compared to the previous week - by 61 percent (vs. 70 percent last week). It was surpassed by new releases Scary Movie (No. 1, approximately $25 million) and Masters of the Universe (No. 2, $30 million). At this rate, it looks like The Mandalorian and Grogu could become the first Star Wars movie to miss the $200 million mark at the U.S. box office (it's currently at $155 million), and might not even catch Solo, which grossed $400 million at the global box office. So far he is about to reach the mark of $300 million.

The total cost of the film, including marketing and production budgets, is about $300 million, meaning that after subtracting the theatrical cut, the film will likely lose tens of millions. This is likely causing alarm within Disney, who may cover up the losses by claiming that the film was just an experiment, or that real success will come with the release of Starfighter next year. They also argue that this will always be a difficult task since the film has already established itself on streaming platforms rather than in theaters.

But no one actually greenlit a Star Wars movie thinking they would lose money. They took on the project because they believed it was their best chance to get the film into theaters and make good money promoting it through Grogu - all while being aware of the potential difficulties. However, they did not expect so many projects to appear on YouTube.

Now the question becomes: what will Disney and Lucasfilm learn from this? Will they wait another 12 months for
Starfighter to be a real test, or will they overreact (as they have in the past) and start canceling projects? The next few months will be very revealing. And that's not all: we're only in the first half of Dave Filoni and Lynwen Brennan's first year as presidents of Lucasfilm.

The Quantic Dream studio is planning layoffs, and if they happen, the developer will not be able to complete his role-playing game.

This week, employees of the French company Quantic Dream went on strike in front of their headquarters in Paris. The purpose of which is, among other things, an attempt to save Star Wars Eclipse, which, according to them, the studio will not be able to complete without 115 employees who are planned to be fired.

This is in no way an act of sabotage. Instead, we're trying to save Star Wars Eclipse. We are short-staffed, like many other companies.

One of the game developers

We believe that in its current form, the game is literally impossible to complete if the layoff plan is implemented.

Another game developer

The protest, organized by the French STJV union (which also includes Don't Nod and Ubisoft workers), allegedly coincided with a visit by a delegation from Lucasfilm Games as part of a review of the progress of Eclipse development. Another protesting worker said the strike was an opportunity to send a clear message.

After a seven-year wait, Star Wars has returned to the big screen with The Mandalorian and Grogu. The film features the main characters fighting both Imperial remnants and the Hutts, and is full of action and humor. The film was intended as an entry point for fans who haven't watched all three seasons of The Mandalorian, but it is nonetheless full of references and allusions to the series and Star Wars in general.

Watching the film in (roughly) chronological order, here are the Easter eggs and fun details we found. Of course... Spoilers follow.
