The developer of Star Wars: Galactic Racer criticized the constant rewards in races
Star Wars: Galactic Racer will challenge players more often as persistent rewards wear off over time, says Fuse Games CEO Matt Webster.

In an interview, Fuse Games head Matt Webster cited the example of the Burnout series, where players were constantly rewarded with new cars and other rewards.
Games should challenge players. In Burnout, rewards were constantly raining down on you: a burst of dopamine, reward, reward, car, car, car! Eventually, if everything comes down to the same thing, you stop noticing it.
In Star Wars: Galactic Racer, the studio wants to make even fifth place a source of pride after a tough race. At the same time, the game alternates intense races with calmer moments, allowing players to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Star Wars.
Webster previously noted that modern players are able to cope with greater cognitive load. Therefore, racers will have to monitor boosters and ability recharges, as well as troubleshoot problems at speeds of up to 700 km/h.
