Amy Adams, one of the most famous actresses associated with Star Wars: Starfighter, has revealed a few details about her participation in the filming of the new film, including the fact that she was only on set for a short time.
A new book from Abrams Books offers Star Wars fans a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of one of the franchise's best series, Andor.
In addition to never-before-seen art, the original idea for the show was revealed. Initially, Jared Bush, who was responsible for Disney cartoons (Moana, Zootopia), worked on the project.

Lucasfilm has unveiled the first trailer for Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi, setting the stage for the first full-length anime series in the history of the Star Wars franchise. The project consists of 8 episodes and combines the plots of two of the most iconic short films in the Visions anthology - the original The Ninth Jedi and the sequel Hope's Child.
Events will unfold in the distant future of the galaxy, where the Sith and the Jedi Order have practically disappeared, and the world has plunged into chaos. The plot will focus on La Cara, who, under the leadership of Margrave Juro, will continue to comprehend the Force. Together with a small group of students, the heroine will go on a dangerous mission to save her father and find her own path. At the same time, the main character will have to hide from the pursuit of ruthless Jedi hunters.
In Star Wars, the character who replaced Kylo Ren in the ranks of the Knights of Ren has returned. But this time in a more significant role.
Many fans of the franchise agree that the sequel trilogy was a bit of a mess, especially when it came to the Knights of Ren. In “The Force Awakens,” they were introduced as a dangerous group of Force-sensitives led by Kylo Ren. Their potential was squandered in The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. Sunrise". However, "Star Wars" develops them in other formats.
Lucasfilm and Marvel Comics recently announced the release of a new canonical comic book series called The Fall of Kylo Ren. The first issue will be released in August, and the second in September. I have a bad feeling. By the end of its third weekend at the US box office, The Mandalorian and Grogu had already dropped to 6th place, once again behind the feature film based on the YouTube sensation: The Amazing Digital Circus.
Jon Favreau's film showed again a sharp drop in box office receipts compared to the previous week - by 61 percent (vs. 70 percent last week). It was surpassed by new releases Scary Movie (No. 1, approximately $25 million) and Masters of the Universe (No. 2, $30 million). At this rate, it looks like The Mandalorian and Grogu could become the first Star Wars movie to miss the $200 million mark at the U.S. box office (it's currently at $155 million), and might not even catch Solo, which grossed $400 million at the global box office. So far he is about to reach the mark of $300 million.
The total cost of the film, including marketing and production budgets, is about $300 million, which means that after subtracting the theatrical cut, the film will likely lose tens of millions. This is likely causing alarm within Disney, who may cover up the losses by claiming that the film was just an experiment, or that real success will come with the release of Starfighter next year. They also argue that this will always be a difficult task since the film has already established itself on streaming platforms rather than in theaters.
But no one actually greenlit a Star Wars movie thinking they would lose money. They took on the project because they believed it was their best chance to get the film into theaters and make good money promoting it through Grogu - all while being aware of the potential difficulties. However, they did not expect so many projects to appear on YouTube.
Now the question becomes: what will Disney and Lucasfilm learn from this?Will they wait another 12 months for
Starfighter to be a real test, or will they overreact (as they have in the past) and start canceling projects? The next few months will be very revealing. And that's not all: we're only in the first half of Dave Filoni and Lynwen Brennan's first year as presidents of Lucasfilm.
There are layoffs planned at the Quantic Dream studio, and if they happen, the developer will not be able to complete his role-playing game.
This week, employees of the French company Quantic Dream went on strike in front of their headquarters in Paris. The purpose of which is, among other things, an attempt to save Star Wars Eclipse, which, according to them, the studio will not be able to complete without 115 employees who are planned to be fired.

The protest, organized by the French STJV union (which also includes Don't Nod and Ubisoft workers), allegedly coincided with a visit by a delegation from Lucasfilm Games as part of a review of the progress of Eclipse development. Another protesting worker said the strike was an opportunity to send a clear message.
After a seven-year wait, Star Wars has returned to the big screen with The Mandalorian and Grogu. The film features the main characters fighting both Imperial remnants and the Hutts, and is full of action and humor. The film was intended as an entry point for fans who haven't watched all three seasons of The Mandalorian, but it is nonetheless full of references and allusions to the series and Star Wars in general.

This is a spin-off of Star Wars: Visions, dedicated to the Ninth Jedi from the original anthology. The popular story was turned into a full-fledged mini-series about the new adventures of Kara, the daughter of the legendary lightsaber master.
“The Jedi and Sith have disappeared. But the Force remains an ally of those who want to fight for justice. Viewers can expect a continuation of the story of Kara, who is again trying to find her father, avoiding the omnipresent Jedi hunters."

Although Star Wars has a long list of villains, there are a few that immediately come to mind when someone mentions the franchise. Darth Vader is obviously at the top of the list, but Darth Maul is also popular.
Of course, many were disappointed by the story of the antagonist in The Phantom Menace. Even George Lucas later realized that he shouldn't have gotten rid of the character so early. The original voice actor who brought Maul to life also seems to be of this opinion. He even called his role in Star Wars "the biggest disappointment" of his life.
In an interview with the podcast Class Clown Peter Serafinovich spoke about the time as Maul in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.” He recalled a specific conversation with Lucas that ultimately didn't go as planned.
It was strange. This character... I don't know what I thought then. The design... I didn't really like it. When I watched the film, it became the biggest disappointment in my life at that time. Honestly. Have you seen him? It was so exciting that even just participating in it... in this, it seemed to me, would become a cult event. It’s just unimaginable... maybe he is [cult]. Probably.
Serafinowicz remembers Lucas calling him the new James Earl Jones, but it didn't get the reaction Lucas probably expected. “James Earl Jones has the best voice of all people, right?” - Serafinovich said. "And then suddenly I was with George Lucas, and he said, 'Well, Peter, you're the new James Earl Jones,' and I said, 'Damn it, really? Then why are you paying me so little money, George?'"
If Superstar Wars (1992) was the moment Star Wars found its 16-bit sass, and Superstar Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1993) was the sequel that honed that sass, making it a little colder and a lot meaner, then Superstar Wars: Return of the Jedi (1994) is the ending where everything stops pretending to be a decent adaptation and just turns into a beautiful, aggressive, slightly insane beast for the SNES.
And to be honest, it was probably the right decision.
It was the third and final game in the Super Star Wars trilogy, and by the time it was released, the formula had been fully worked out. Big sprites. Loud action scenes. Movie scenes converted into game logic. Enemies are everywhere. Bosses where there were no bosses. Platforming with its own style. A soundtrack that struggles to get John Williams through the SNES sound chip and into action.
As part of our comprehensive list of all Star Wars games (1979-present), this game certainly deserves its place. It also fits perfectly into the section of Star Wars (1990-1999) games and is particularly well suited as a natural follow-up to our recent reviews of Super Star Wars (1992) and Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1993). The first game made Star Wars big in 16-bit format. The second made them cruel. This same one decided that the ending should be bigger, weirder and chaotic enough to leave an indelible mark on your memory.
