The Star Wars: Outlaws universe continues in the novel Low Red Moon
Despite the cancellation of the sequel Star Wars Outlaws, the history of the game has not sunk into oblivion. Lucasfilm expands this branch of a galaxy far, far away through literature: already February 3rd The novel "Low Red Moon" by Mike Chen, a New York Times bestselling author, will be released.
The events of the book will unfold in the interval between the films “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi” - during the heyday of the crime syndicates.
Unlike the game, the novel shifts the focus from Kay Vess to Jalen Vraks, the criminal mastermind behind her recruitment. The story is told from his point of view and dives deeper into the underground world of smugglers, mercenaries and secret deals. ND-5, a BX-series commando droid who accompanies Vraks and performs reconnaissance and defense functions, also plays an important role in the plot.
