After years of speculation, a new report from Puck News' Matt Belloni claims that Dave Filoni and Lynwen Brennan will soon replace Kathleen Kennedy as co-presidents of Lucasfilm.

According to the report, Dave Filoni will lead all creative development for Lucasfilm, and Lynwen Brennan (current president and CEO of Lucasfilm Business) will oversee the executive and commercial sides of the company.

This structure with two co-presidents is similar to the structure of DC Studios. James Gunn is the creative head of the Warner Bros.-owned studio, while Peter Safran is in charge of business development. Lucasfilm appears to be replicating this structure as part of the company's post-Kennedy reorganization in the near future.

It is currently unknown exactly when Kathleen Kennedy will leave Lucasfilm, although media rumors suggest it will be sooner rather than later. If The Mandalorian and Grogu is a financial and critical success when it hits theaters in May, Kennedy might want to retire on a high note.

The half-forgotten Star Wars Racer Revenge has soared in price due to a new method of hacking PS5

The half-forgotten Star Wars Racer Revenge has soared in price due to a new method of hacking PS5

Physical copies of Star Wars Racer Revenge suddenly sharply increased in price on the secondary market. The reason for the hype is rumors that the game code can be used to hack the PlayStation 5 if the original disc is in the drive.

According to recent sales on eBay, the re-release of Star Wars Racer Revenge for PS4 has been selling for $300 and up over the past 24 hours, and the price continues to rise. For comparison:

  • On December 31, more than a dozen copies were sold at prices ranging from $80 to $166;
  • On January 1, 11 more discs sold for $180–364;
  • there are now dozens of lots on sale with price tags of $300–400 and above.

The physical version of Star Wars Racer Revenge reportedly plays a key role in the new method of hacking the PS5. The exploit supposedly works only if the original disc is present, which provoked a massive purchase of boxed copies. If the hack is successful, users will be able to run pirated games and third-party software.

The original Star Wars Racer Revenge was released on PlayStation 2 back in 2002, and in 2019 it received a re-release for PS4 from Limited Run Games. It is estimated that the circulation was about 8.5 thousand copies. Until recently, the disc was easily sold on eBay for about $20, which makes the current price hike especially noticeable.

Vader's Legacy is better than the movies

The story focuses on the inner torment of Supreme Leader Kylo Ren and his determination to put an end to his past. He seeks to gain the same power that his grandfather held by exploring Anakin Skywalker's past as a Jedi and as Darth Vader.

The two most important factions in Star Wars are the Jedi and the Sith. Opposite sides of the same coin, engaged in an eternal struggle. However, at the beginning of the prequels, this is not such a rivalry, since the Sith have not been seen for a long time.

The Jedi do not sit idly by, serving as peacekeepers throughout the galaxy. Of course, it would be a mistake to go on dangerous missions empty-handed, which is why all members of the Order use a lightsaber.

Because the Jedi do not want anyone to misunderstand them during missions, they use special colors for their blades. The Sith take the opposite approach as they seek to instill fear. At the same time, there are not many blade colors in the canon. Here are all the main ones. And who used them in the movies.

Ahsoka Season 2 will break a long-standing Star Wars rule that has never been broken in the franchise's 49-year history. The exit is taking longer than many had hoped.

The first season was released in 2023, and many believed that the second season would release sometime in 2026. However, oddly enough, the upcoming season was not included in Disney's 2026 plans, so nothing is certain.
