Natalie Portman has been a Hollywood star for over thirty years, but for Star Wars fans she will always remain Padmé Amidala. Playing the young queen-turned-senator in George Lucas' prequel trilogy, Portman became part of one of film's most enduring franchises while still a teenager. Since then, she has built an illustrious career far beyond the galaxy far, far away, winning an Oscar for Black Swan and starring in hits such as Thor, V for Vendetta and No Strings Attached.

Now Portman finds herself at the center of an unexpected literary scandal.

According to a recent tweet, Star Wars Zero Company is now available for pre-load on all platforms, and the tactical game is scheduled to launch at 18:00 UTC. This applies to all versions. Star Wars Zero Company releases August 27 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.

The game takes place during the Clone Wars and centers on Hawks leading a group of mercenaries to stop Fathom. Along the way you will also have to destroy many bandits and droids.

Bit Reactor doesn't hide its XCOM influences, but there's a twist to the usual turn-based, cover-centric gameplay: an edge. Once they've built up an advantage, players can unleash powerful ultimates, although they're spread across the entire team, so you'll have to choose the right moment.

The game will take between 30 and 40 hours to complete, and the developer is not yet sure if DLC is planned.

Rumors: Hayden Christensen may return to star in several Star Wars projects, including a Darth Vader film

Darth Vader survived lava, dismemberment, the destruction of the Jedi Order, and decades of Star Wars merchandise.

He can probably survive another rumor. New information is circulating online that Hayden Christensen is in the final stages of negotiations with Disney and Lucasfilm about a multi-part project, with most of the rumors suggesting that among the projects being discussed is a standalone film about Darth Vader.

This would obviously be on a colossal scale. This information has not yet been confirmed at all.

There have been no official statements from Lucasfilm, Disney or Christensen, and we have not seen independent confirmation of this claim in major industry publications such as Deadline, Variety or The Hollywood Reporter. Until the situation changes, this should remain in the rumor column and not next to the release schedule.

The Star Wars Zero Company spent months convincing us of the importance of squad composition.

Clone soldiers. Mercenaries. Mandalorians. Users of the Force. Specialists carefully selected for the dangerous assignments Hawk received this week.

Or you can apparently take four astromechs with you.

The recently released achievement list includes a wonderfully named challenge called "Evil Signals" which is awarded for completing a mission using four astromechs.

No drone provides technical support. Four. At this point, Zero Company is less a secret military unit and more a highly agitated maintenance department.

Matthew Rhys admitted that he was “too afraid” to talk to Harrison Ford about voicing Han Solo in the Welsh version of Star Wars: A New Hope.

The experience of playing this iconic role was “weird”, added the 51-year-old from Cardiff, who moved to the US to pursue an acting career.

Ahead of the sci-fi classic's 50th anniversary next year, Star Wars will be dubbed into Welsh for the first time in a move that has been praised by the First Minister.
