Star Wars returns to theaters in spring 2026 to continue the story of Din Djarin and Grogu. The first trailer hinted at the plot of the film, but for now it is kept secret.

For those unfamiliar, the Gods of Mortis were introduced in “The Clone Wars” as three extremely powerful figures representing three different facets of the Force: the dark side (Son), light side (Daughter), and balance (Father). It is implied that the murder of the Daughter in The Clone Wars upset the balance of the Force, setting the stage perfectly for Anakin to fall to the dark side in Revenge of the Sith.
