Lucasfilm Executive Editor Jennifer Heddle sat down with a stellar group of writers and editors today at New York Comic Con, including Kwame Mbalya, Charles Soule, Ethan Sachs, Marc Guggenheim, Adam Christopher and Christine Bawer.

Star Wars: Legacy
In Star Wars Legacy, an all-new adventure from bestselling author Madeleine Roux, we join Rey and her new owner Leia Organalet's go in search of the legendary Skywalker lightsaber. Read exclusive interview on StarWars.com to learn more about this highly anticipated novel. (July 28, 2026)

Star Wars: Eyes Like Stars
New York Times bestselling author Ashley Poston writes the first official Star Wars romance novel, Eyes Like Stars. NYCC has its first look at the fairytale cover for the young adult novel about a couple searching for happiness in a galaxy far, far away.Set approximately a year and a half before Star Wars: The Force Awakens, this charming young adult novel features all-new characters, a mysterious artifact, and the fearsome First Order. The Art ofThe MandalorianandGrogu
Author Phil Szostak talks about the concept and creation of the visual elements of the first great adventure of the Clan of Two. The Art of the Mandalorian and Grogu also includes a look at work from the third season of The Mandalorian, as well as excerpts from The Book of Boba Fett. (April 28, 2026)

Star Wars: Visions: Tsukumo
The NYCC panel featured VIZ Media's new original Star Wars mangaStar Wars: Visions: Tsukumofrom the star creators of the latest Ultraman manga. After Order 66, a lone Jedi Knight is sent, accompanied by a pair of droids, to the so-called "Droid Paradise", pursued by the Empire. (July 14, 2026)

Star Wars: High Republic Adventures—Trailblazers
Return to the era of The High Republic with the new mini-series Pathfinders from Dark Horse Comics! Lucasfilm has unveiled the covers for the first two issues, which feature an all-new team of Republic trackers who travel to a remote corner of the galaxy to investigate the strange death of a Jedi Master.Writer George Mann and artists Partha Pratim, Jagdish Kumar, Michael Atiyeh and Comicraft form the creative team for this upcoming adventure, set approximately 20 years after Phase II.

During the discussion, writer Ethan Sacks helped show a first look at the comic Star Wars:Boba Fett- Black, White & Red #3. Writers Charles Soule and Marc Guggenheim also gave fans first looks at the issues of Star Wars: Legacy of Vader#9 and #10, as well as on StarWars: Jedi Knights #8, where the Jedi Master appeared as a guest starKelleran Beq, and issue #9. Look for Jedi Knights #8this month and Jedi Knights #9November 19th at your local comic shop.
Master Beck also appears in the New York Film Festival special starring none other than Jar Jar Binks! Co-creators Ahmed Best (who played both characters in The Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, respectively) and Marc Guggenheim teamed up Binks and Beck for the ages in issue ofJar Jar Binks #1.The presentation featured the main and alternate covers, both featuring everyone's favorite Gungan (February 2026)

The Art of Star Wars:Andor(Complete Series)
Lucasfilm's Phil Szostak and Abrams Books have unveiled a complete behind-the-scenes look at the Emmy Award-winning Disney+ series - "The Art of Star Wars: Andor (The Complete Series)". Visitors to NYCC were able to see the official cover featuring a never-before-seen image of Cassian Andor at Ferrix by concept artist Chester Carr. (May 19, 2026)



Doug Chiang: The Cinematic Legacy (Volume I) and The Star Wars Legacy (Volume II)
Doug Chan started working at Lucasfilm during the production of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and has since directed or contributed to the visual effects for many beloved films and TV shows.At NYCC we got an inside look at the the upcoming two-volume work written by Alexandre Ponce and Gilles Penso, a body of work by Chan that spans his entire career and defines the visual language of Star Warsfor decades. ArtStar Wars: Acolyte
StarWars.com Editor Kristin Baver takes you behind the scenes of The Acolyte with exclusive concept art and interviews with the series' key creators in The Art of Star Wars: The Acolytesincluding a foreword by creator Leslye Headland.
