The unusual “Star Wars” is back: the trailer for the new part of “Visions” has been released

The debut trailer for the third season of the anime series Star Wars: Visions has been released. The animated anthology, which is not part of the franchise canon, returns with nine new episodes this fall.

Despite the fact that Visions is not canon, it is loved by fans. Each episode allows for enormous creative freedom without being constrained by canon. The show received a 98% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, garnering a fan base.

Lucasfilm has released a trailer for the third season of the series, in which the Jedi-turned-Sith Ronin from the episode "Duel" and La Cara from the episode "The Ninth Jedi" again appear.

Star Wars Visions season 3 has changed

The Season 3 trailer shows that the series is no longer an anthology, with each episode presenting a completely new story. Now some episodes continue previous stories.

The spin-off of “The Ninth Jedi” is also being prepared for release. The third season episode "The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope" will continue Kara's story and will likely also serve as the basis for a spin-off.

The premiere will take place on October 29 on Disney+.
