Ewan McGregor, who starred in the series Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, recently expressed his desire to see the third season of the series Andor.

Andor can be called one of the most successful shows in the franchise. Although the project was inferior in terms of the number of viewers toAcolyte, reviews about it were mostly positive. The second season even sparked renewed interest inStar Wars: Battlefront 2.

Actor calls on Disney to greenlight 'Andor' sequel

The actor who plays Obi-Wan Kenobi was a guest at Fan Expo in Canada, where he praised the series. According to Collider, the actor would like to take part in a potential third season.

I was very excited. I thought, “It seems like my character is alive in this timeline. I think I might be in season three." I was incredibly excited and then I realized, “Oh no.” In general, if that were the case, I would be able to squeeze in there, at least a little. There is always the possibility that there is some history going on at the same time that somehow intersects. So there's always a chance that Disney will listen—hypothetically. Come on, Disney.

He also stated that he missed the series when it first came out. When he started watching the show with his young son, the actor realized why everyone was talking about him.

McGregor also promised that he would watch all the episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He also missed the animated series. This is ideal for watching with your son.

The chances of a third season of Andora are slim as creator Tony Gilroy planned for the series to end with two seasons. Additionally, events directly led to the beginning ofRogue One.

Lucasfilm has officially changed course regarding future Star Wars film content. After several years of rapidly expanding the universe on Disney+, the studio decided to focus on cinemas and focus on quality. This marks a significant shift in Disney's strategy.

After focusing on television for the better part of a decade, management is now emphasizing theatrical distribution. Since the release of the filmThe Rise of Skywalker. RisingThe franchise has largely lived on Disney+ in 2019, offering a steady stream of live-action and animated series includingThe Mandalorian,AndorandThe Bad Batch.

The Ahsoka star confirmed that the two characters will share many scenes in the second season.

The new episodes will see many of the original cast returning to reprise their roles, including Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger. However, unfortunately, one big name from the first season has been replaced.

Ray Stevenson, who played the role of Baylan Skoll, was recast after the tragic death of the actor in May 2023. Instead of abandoning the villain, he will return in season two. Now he is played by Game of Thronesstar Rory McCann, who joins Shin Hachi played by Ivanna Sakhno.

According to Sakhno, in the second season of Ahsokaher character and Skoll will often appear together on screen. The actress announced this in an interview with The Direct when active production of new episodes was underway.

Now filming is in full swing. I report from London so, you know, I see Rory almost every day and he's been incredible to work with. His work speaks for itself and he is definitely a gift to us. And no one could have played this role better.

Star Wars Outlaws on Switch 2 is having performance issues

Star Wars Outlaws on Switch 2 is having performance issues

During PAX West 2025, Good Vibes Gaming (GVG) was given access to a private demo of Star Wars Outlaws on Switch 2. Although Ubisoft did not allow recording, the impressions shared by the channel were not very encouraging.

According to GVG, the game is unstable, with resolution and frame rate dropping, dropping below 30 frames per second at various points. Testing included only indoor scenes and space combat, no open world scenes, which means performance may be even lower.

Although the Switch 2 version uses ray tracing and DLSS, the game's visuals appear to vary significantly, overall performing much lower than the PS5 and PC versions.

Ubisoft has confirmed to me that they are using both DLSS and ray tracing. I was hoping that DLSS would help maintain at least a stable 30fps, but I don't think we'll see that here.

Ray tracing looks great on Stormtrooper armor and Destroyer surfaces, but I wasn't impressed with the space combat. My main question is: if DLSS is used, what resolution is being scaled? Because I noticed that with the main character, her personal lighting looks a little flat. Her hair didn't render very well.

The channel also claims that unlike other ports we've seen for Switch 2, Outlaws feels like an adaptation that makes big sacrifices, reminiscent of the original Switch's problematic ports.

It feels like we've returned to a time when the original ports of PS4 or PS5 games on Switch looked noticeably worse. We haven't seen this before on Switch 2. Most Switch 2 ports are very similar to the current-gen versions, but in Star Wars Outlaws the graphical shortcuts are noticeable right from the start.

The publication claims that since Star Wars Outlaws is scheduled to release on Switch 2 on September 4, 2025, we are unlikely to see any significant differences from what was shown at the event.

If you're a fan of Lego sets, and especially Star Wars sets, this year is going to be incredibly exciting for you. On the one hand, he has already brought several interesting Star Wars sets, and on the other hand, the time for the appearance of the best, largest and, perhaps, cheapest Lego ever released is gradually approaching.

In particular, the Danish kit maker wants to impress with the giganticLego Star Wars UCS Death Star(or rather, several variants of it), which comes in a somewhat unusual form - at least judging by the leaked photos that have begun to circulate on the Internet in recent hours. Instead of the entire station, we seeonly half—actually a giant diorama. This may disappoint some fans, but Lego seems to be focusing ondetail and workmanshipinstead of a classic building. After all, there is a lot to see here. Inside, we see such iconic scenes as the final duel between Luke and Vader, the fight between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader, the meeting of Imperial officers and the arrival of Vader himself. The only thing missing is prison cells.
