The 50 Greatest Star Wars Characters of All Time
The Star Wars galaxy is populated by legendary characters from an entire constellation. Noble Jedi heroes, smooth-talking smugglers, out-and-out villains, interstellar princesses and everything in between inhabit George Lucas's space opera, bringing its tales of good and evil to life. Across the nine films in the Skywalker Saga and the many stories spanning the vast Star Wars timeline (which will soon include The Mandalorian and Grogu), there are characters who define archetypes and others who defy them, some of them gloriously sublime or surprisingly human, even if they're bright green or made of metal. Beep-boop!
Now, the Empire's most passionate nerfers, milkers, and rebellious dregs have gathered to rank the 50 greatest Star Wars characters, voting for faces from every canonical era of the saga, from the Old Testament to the sequel trilogy and beyond, including movies, streaming series, and animated shows. (Note: Non-TV and film characters were not included here, so there was no Cal Kestis, no Marcion Rho, no Doctor Aphra, etc.) The votes were then tallied and the final orders were furiously debated before being run through C-3PO's equipment - and you can read the full rankings below.
