Empire vs. Avengers - new images of Marvel and Star Wars crossover released
As part of the New York Comic Con festival, they presented the first look at Darth Vader from Star Wars, who took possession of the Infinity Gauntlet. The previews were published ahead of the release of the Star Wars/Marvel: Hope Assembles crossover.

The idea of a crossover between Marvel and Star Wars seemed incredible a few years ago. Now this is becoming a reality, since both franchises belong to Disney.
After the presentation of the cover, the pages of the comic were shown. On them you can see how the Empire ends up on Earth, where it is met by Marvel heroes.

Clash of two iconic universes

According to the plot, the crossover will be explained by a malfunction in the spell, due to which the events of the film A New Hope unfold on Earth-616. During this period, Darth Vader was burdened by the power of Emperor Palpatine, so he may try to get the Infinity Gauntlet and overthrow his teacher.
Thanos is featured on the cover of the first issue, so we can see him confront Vader. It is also very likely that the latter will have to face Doctor Doom - it is possible that he is behind the key spell.
Captain America vs. an Imperial Star Destroyer in a crossover with “Star Wars” / Marvel Comics
It is important to understand that this is not just another crossover. The story is dedicated to the 50th anniversary ofStar Wars: A New Hopeand is intended to mark the anniversary of the release of the first film. That is why the plot is not limited to the simple unification of two universes.
Star Wars/Marvel: Hope Assembles releases January 13, 2027.
