Daisy Ridley promised that the story of the Star Wars movie about Rey would be great

Rey's story will continue in a film tentatively titled Star Wars: The New Jedi Order. At the moment this is all available information.

Daisy Ridley will return to her role, but the plot of the project still cannot be finalized. Recently it became known about a new screenwriter who will rewrite the story. Despite the delayed production, Ridley is confident that everything is moving in the right direction.

In a conversation with the publication ComicBook the actress repeated her excitement about the film. She appears to be aware of the current development status.

I haven't read the last script, but I know what's going on. And I know the story, which is really nice that George [Nolfi] is a phenomenal writer. I believe this story is the best way to continue Rey's journey. I think it's worth the wait and I'm very excited.

What will Star Wars: The New Jedi Order be about?

First of all, this is notStar Wars: Episode 10. The screenwriter of the X-Menis currently working on the new trilogy.

The New Jedi Orderwill tell about Rey after the events of The Rise of Skywalker. Sunrise. Events will unfold 15 years after the ninth episode, when the heroine is trying to found a new Jedi Order.

We don't yet know how the galaxy will change by then. This is essentially uncharted territory for the entire franchise. Apparently, this is why Lucasfilm is in no hurry with the project.

The premiere of the film may take place in 2028. In 2026, The Mandalorian and Grogu will be released, and in 2027, Star Wars from Shawn Levy (Deadpool 3) is expected.
