Star Wars Outlaws, even with a discount during the holidays, could not attract many players

During a conference call on monetary issues with Ubisoft investors, CFO Frederic Duguay shared information about upcoming games, and also talked about some sales details for the action game Star Wars Outlaws, which was released at the end of August last year. 

Duguet noted that while sales of Star Wars Outlaws increased during the holiday period, it was not enough to meet expectations. However, he emphasized that through the release of updates and patches, the game has reached a high level of quality and has become“one of the most fun and visually appealing interactive Star Wars titles among fans.” Duguay concluded his speech by saying that the game will sell well in the long run.

As for future games, the company will focus on service games and proven franchises.
