Star Wars Zero Company - can Trick be saved?

By the end of Chapter 11 of Star Wars Zero Company, you will complete the mission Stillwatch, during which a secret order will be issued - very familiar to all Star Wars fans. At some point, control will pass to Trick. He will be ordered to execute traitors to the Republic. There is nowhere to go - you will have to shoot one of your former comrades.

Then control will switch back, and you will have to fight with Trick himself. Is it possible to complete the mission without defeating him? And will it be possible to somehow save the hero?

Can Trick be saved

Unfortunately, you cannot complete the mission Stillwatch without defeating Trick. Attempts to skip turns or exclude a hero from the squad by loading an old save will lead to nothing. Trick will continue to attack you, and you won't be able to reason with him.

Trick's Fate

Fortunately, Trick does not die during the passage of Stillwatch. Hawks takes him with him, andM-3VOprovides all the necessary medical assistance. In the end, Trick returns to the team, but several more missions will have to be completed without him.
