Star Wars Zero Company has been released, making it the highest-rated Star Wars game in 20 years.

August 27, 2026, the official release of the tactical strategy Star Wars Zero Company by the studios Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment took place. The game is available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles, as well as on PC in the Steam digital store.

The new product is a turn-based tactical strategy, the events of which unfold in the Star Wars universe during the era of the Clone Wars. In terms of gameplay, it is reminiscent of the latest installments of the XCOM series, but with a much greater emphasis on the story component. The release of the project was accompanied by a small release trailer.

Star Wars Zero Company received a very warm reception from professional game critics. Its average score on the review aggregator Metacritic is 86 points out of 100. The authors of the publication VGC note that this is the most the highest rated Star Wars game of the last 20 years. Only Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2 (2002), Star Wars: Rogue Leader (2001), Star Wars: Jedi Knight (1997) and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003) have higher ratings.
