Disneyland Paris may finally have a Star Wars themed area.

Disneyland Paris may have a Star Wars themed area.

Yes. Again.

New rumors have surfaced that Disney is considering expanding the area around Discoveryland, possibly with an original attraction themed around The Mandalorian and Grogu.

There is no official announcement. No concept art. There is no construction start date. There is not even a suspicious fence with the word “Imagineering” on it.

So for now this remains just a rumor.

But this is just a rumor with a story behind it, and this is where the interesting things about Disneyland Paris usually start.

Attraction based on “The Mandalorian” behind Discoveryland.

Recent speculation suggests that the proposed attraction could become the centerpiece of a small Star Wars themed area that would be linked to Discoveryland.

Earlier rumors suggested that it would be a high-speed vehicle, possibly using technology similar to that used in the filmTron: Light Cycle Run.This naturally led to ideas involving speeder bikes, imperial chases, and Grogu pressing the one button he was strictly forbidden to touch.

None of this has been confirmed.

However, the location is quite logical.

Discoveryland already has Star Tours: The Adventures Continue and Star Wars Hyperspace MountainDin Djarin and Grogu also appeared in the park, so their appearance is hardly uncharted territory.

Our guide to Star Tours at Disneyland Paris shows how closely Star Wars is already integrated into this area resort.

At the moment, it appears that several Star Wars related objects are simply located nearby.

Disneyland Paris has already tried this.

Disney previously announced a Star Wars-themed area for the park now known as Disney Adventure World.

It was planned to be released simultaneously with the Marvel and Frozen expansion packs.

Marvel has opened.

Frozen moved forward.

Star Wars quietly disappeared from the illustrations, as if someone had applied some kind of Jedi mind-altering trick to the project.

The Lion King themed area was later announced, while the original plans for Star Wars fell into a special Disney category best described as "something we're not discussing anymore."

That's why every new rumor about Paris is accompanied by the same inevitable phrase:

It's us again.

Mando and Grogu are obvious choices.

Disney is already actively promoting these two characters in its parks.

In 2026, they were added to a new mission for theMillennium Falcon: Smuggler's Runin California and Florida. We covered this update when Smuggler's Run became part of The Mandalorian and Grogu's adventures.

It is reported that the Paris attraction would have gone even further if its design had been designed with these factors in mind from the start.

The logic here is not difficult to understand.

The Mandalorian series features spaceships, car chases, monsters and dramatic music.

The Grogu company brought with it the entire souvenir shop.

This is a surprisingly efficient division of labor.

Don’t book a hotel yet

The idea is quite plausible. The location was well chosen. Disney already uses these characters in its parks.

However, there is still no confirmed information about the attraction itself, budget, construction schedule or opening date.

Disneyland Paris was already planning a Star Wars themed area, but in the end nothing came of it except some very attractive illustrations.

Perhaps this time Paris will finally get its own corner of the galaxy.

Or maybe in two years we will be discussing the same rumor again, this time involving Ahsoka, three drones and a mysterious construction site behind the Star Tours attraction.

It's us again.
