Star Wars finally answers the question no one asked: who cleaned up the consequences of Greedo's actions?

Han Solo walks into the Mos Eisley cantina, has a brief but increasingly unpleasant conversation with Greedo, shoots him, tosses the bartender some credits, and leaves to continue one of the most important adventures in galactic history.

Very heroic.

There is one practical problem, however, that A New Hope never addresses: someone has to clear the table.

After almost fifty years,PowerWash Simulator 2has finally provided the answer. One of the missions in his Star Wars Pack sends the janitor droid P0-W2 to the Mos Eisley Cantina after Han meets Greedo.

Finally, Star Wars remembered those who come after the heroes leave.

Khan shot first. P0-W2 was cleared after being fired.

We have already told about the release of the Star Wars Pack add-on for PowerWash Simulator 2, which includes six types of sinks inspired by the original trilogy.

The obvious joke at the time was that the Star Wars universe was unusually dirty. Tatooine is mostly sand, machinery, and everything that hasn't been cleaned since the days of the Old Republic. The Millennium Falcon looks like it last had an inspection shortly before Han took it from Lando.

But the cantina job is funnier because it subtly changes the angle of one of the franchise's most famous scenes. Luke and Obi-Wan arrive. Khan is hired. Greedo gets shot.All important people move on.

The bartender doesn't do this.

Apparently, some unhappy employee is standing behind the counter, looking at table seven and wondering if this is in the cleaning budget.

We now know that P0-W2 ends up in industrial equipment.

The history of cinema moves forward.

Star Wars left a real mess behind.

The cantina isn't the only place that needs attention. The Star Wars Pack also sends P0-W2 to clear locations and vehicles associated with Hoth, Endor, Lars Manor, the Executor, and the Millennium Falcon.

For decades, Star Wars games mostly let us create our own mess. We blow up TIE fighters, crash speeders, destroy walkers, and generally treat Imperial property as if insurance doesn't exist.

Our first look at the Star Wars Pack has already shown why playing as a droid technician is such a wonderfully strange idea in the Star Wars universe. Cleaning up after Greedo is a perfect example of this, because it has absolutely nothing to do with the fate of the galaxy.

That's why it works.

Someone must always be left behind.

One of the oldest tricks of Star Wars is to make us believe that ordinary life continues beyond the adventures. Luke looks dramatically at the two suns; someone else needs to fix the moisture evaporator. The Rebel Alliance destroys the Death Star; someone starts counting the missing X-wing fighters.

Khan shoots Greedo. The hose is connected to P0-W2.

There is a place for a galaxy-saving hero here. And, apparently, there is also a place for a droid, which then cleans everything up.
