Star Wars: Zero Company will take 30 to 40 hours
Bit Reactor studio continues to share details about its tactical project in the Star Wars universe. A month before the release, scheduled for August 27, the developers held a large-scale session stream, during which they answered the most frequently asked questions from the community. The information collected sheds light on the structure of the game, the mechanics of the squad and the degree of freedom of the player.

According to the authors, completing the main storyline will take on average from 30 to 40 hours. At the same time, the developers emphasize that the story will be strictly linear - the game will offer only one final outcome without branching endings.
At the initial stage, seven fighters will be available to players, but as they progress, this number will increase to twenty. You can take no more than four operatives on a standard sortie, although some missions include the participation of additional characters.
The main character named Hawks is a mandatory participant in all key story episodes, but secondary tasks can be completed without his presence. It is important to note that the death of the protagonist leads to instant defeat, and his gender and appearance are customized individually before the start.
The creators deliberately abandoned a number of popular mechanics. The project will not have microtransactions, romantic lines, or official support for modifications. The function of irreversible death of operatives (permanent death) is enabled by default, but it can be disabled in the settings.
The galactic map has more than 150 planets, but not all of them contain full-fledged tactical missions. There is no New Game+ mode, but some customization elements are retained for repeat playthroughs. The developers also confirmed that they continue to optimize the project for the portable console Steam Deck.
Star Wars: Zero Company will be released onAugust 27on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
