Hajime Isayama may have completed the legendary manga Attack on Titan, but the mangaka continues to create. The artist worked on a new poster for the next Star Wars.

The poster forThe Mandalorian and Grogudoesn't show the bounty hunter fighting a Titan, but does show that Isayama is still in great shape. Along with the poster, the author talked about his history withStar Wars, confirming that he saw the original trilogy while visiting his host family in the United States.

My first introduction toStar Warswas when I was staying with a host family in Idaho, and they showed me episodes 6, 5, and 4 in that order. The stark contrast between the inorganic spaceship and the lingering smell of mold and dust gave me a sense of the reality of life, and that's what Star Warsmeant to me. And above all, Grogu is just too cute!

Star Wars goes into anime

It is worth noting that before the poster ofThe Mandalorian and Groguthe franchise was no stranger to anime. Disney+ released three seasons of the anthologyStar Wars: Visionsthat brought together several different anime studios for unique stories. The spin-offThe Ninth Jediis expected to premiere this year.

Disney and Lucasfilm understand that anime is incredibly popular, so experiments with the genre will continue. Perhaps we will see something canonical in this style.
