If you haven't played it yet, Jedi: Survivor is not a full open world game, but rather a semi-open or linear adventure. The emphasis is on storytelling rather than location exploration. While this works well, there is ongoing debate about whether the next installment should be a true open world.

Will Star Wars Jedi 3 be an open world game?

I mean, if that's the developers' plan/vision... Of course. But it definitely doesn't have to be open world. In fact, I'd be happy if the game was shrunk down to the size of Fallen Order (which was also a huge game). I just want the best possible story, new character arcs, and top-notch gameplay. When will Star Wars Jedi 3 be released?

The third game in the Star Wars Jedi series is actively being developed by Respawn Entertainment, although we have not yet received confirmation from the developers themselves. Perhaps the announcement will take place on Star Wars Day, May 4.
