Star Wars could confirm the theory about the main characters

Only a year has passed since the closure ofAcolyte, and fans have already found confirmation of their favorite theory. The ending ofThe Acolytewas quite exciting despite the overall quality of the show, setting the stage for a sequel.

Be it hints at a story involving Darth Plagueis the Wise or hints at Master Yoda's role, season two could have fixed some of the issues. However, shortly after the final episode aired, the show was canceled. This meant that some story arcs would be left open. The same applies to theories.

May and Osha - Dyad of Power

First of all, it is worth presenting this theory. The story ofThe Acolytecenters on twins Osha and May, played by Amandla Stenberg. Their fates were completely different.

The heroines had a dark past. They appeared thanks to the magic of witches, which led to a conflict between the coven and members of the Jedi Order during the Rise of the Republic era. May was considered dead after this conflict (she survived and took the path of the Sith), and Osha was taken by the Jedi.

Given the mysterious circumstances of May and Osha's birth, as well as their connection to such intriguing aspects as Darth Plagueis' immortality and his desire to create life through midi-chlorians, many theories have arisen.  One of them: the main heroines are the Dyad of Power.

The concept of a Force Dyad was introduced in the Star Warssequel trilogy with Kylo Ren and Rey Skywalker. Essentially, a Force Dyad is a phenomenon where two people are connected by the Force.

However, May and Osha were never officially recognized as a Dyad of Power. However, this assumption is confirmed by the animated seriesLEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy - Pieces Of The Past.

The show is not canon, but contains canon concepts. In the person of two brothers, Sig and Dev Gribling, the animated show introduced another Dyad of Powers. They are two complete opposites in their characteristics.

May and Osha, despite alternating light and dark facets throughoutThe Acolytewere one and the same.Now in 2025 we have Sig and Dev who also represent the two sides of the Force, light and dark as the Force Dyad. This perhaps confirms fans' theories about the balance of light and dark.
