The few fans of Star Wars: The Acolyte (Star Wars: The Acolyte) won't want to miss Lucasfilm's new release, coming almost a year after the show premiered.

Before the release, the series received positive reviews from critics, who praised the authors for their approach to the story and noted the acting. However, after its release, the series was criticized by fans, which forced the studio to cancel the second season.

Although Disney and Lucasfilm rushed to remove merchandise for the project from sale, an art book will still be released this year. She will provide a look at the development of the series.

The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte showcases art, character and vehicle designs, planets, storyboards, and other work created during the show's production.

In addition to illustrations, the book also features interviews with members of the creative team.

Acolyte could reveal more about the Sith

The show takes place at the end of the Rise of the Republic. The plot centers on a Jedi Master and his former student as they investigate an ominous threat.

Since it takes place roughly a century beforeStar Wars: The Phantom Menace, the series is fairly closely tied to the prequels of the saga. The finale of the first season hinted at the appearance of Darth Plagueis, who was supposed to appear in the sequel.

The creators ofThe Acolytewanted to delve deeper into the Dark Side of the Force by featuring Palpatine's master. Apparently, now this idea can only be realized in books and comics.

Physical copy of The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte will be released on October 7, 2025 for $50.
