Darth Vader with the Infinity Gauntlet: Marvel and Star Wars crossover shown

Marvel Comics and Lucasfilm will present their first-ever crossover in January 2027.
Star Wars comics have been published by Marvel since 1977, but characters from the “galaxy far, far away” have never crossed paths with Marvel superheroes. At the same time, there were plenty of opportunities for such a meeting - just remember the Guardians of the Galaxy. That's about to change with the five-issue miniseriesStar Wars/Marvel: Hope Assemblesfrom writer Kevin Smith and artist David Marquez.
The covers were presented as part of NYCC 2026. Their authors were Kaare Andrews, Rafael Albuquerque, Alex Ross and Ron Lim. They depict interesting scenes: from Darth Vader with the Infinity Gauntlet on his hand to Professor X and Obi-Wan Kenobi in a spaceship.

What is the Star Wars/Marvel crossover about?
According to the synopsis, Marvel superheroes will witness the events of the first film of the Star Wars saga (A New Hope). Events will unfold on Earth as a result of a spell that distorts reality.
The series will be published monthly. The first issue will appear in January, and the last one in May.
We can only hope that Kevin Smith has already finished working on the project, because he has a habit of starting new stories and then running out of schedule. Some of his works were never completed.
